Montessori del Sol offers a beautifully appointed campus where children aged 18 months to six years can flourish through self-directed learning. Montessori School of Cayman champions traditional Montessori principles with individualised learning paths for 18-month-olds through to six-year-olds. The school holds hands-on activities in purpose-built indoor studios and garden spaces. Island Montessori prides itself on having Montessori-accredited teachers and values mixed with the ability to adapt to other disciplines based on each child’s needs. Sister Janice’s Early Learning Centre
Known for its warm, community-focused atmosphere, Sister Janice’s Early Learning Centre nurtures toddlers and preschoolers aged one to four. Tiny Tots Academy
Tiny Tots Academy was created in 2009 by a Caymanian mother and is operated by the same family to this day. The academy serves children 12 months to 5 years with a focus on social and emotional development, as well as physical and mental well-being. Its early years program is rooted in a sequential learning curriculum crafted for kindergarten and elementary school readiness with the flexibility to evolve in line with best practice techniques in early childhood education.
Blended grade school campuses
A number of schools in Cayman offer mixed campuses for middle school and high school, while some offer grades K-12. Below are the schools located in South Sound that have multi-grade facilities all within the same location. To note, Cayman’s schools follow either the U.S. or British education system, so you will find differences in the grades offered. For example, some high schools may end in year 11 rather than year 12, or middle schools may end in year seven rather than eight.
First Baptist
First Baptist offers programs for preschool, elementary, and middle school education (up to grade eight) and uses an American curriculum to back a focus on Christian teaching, strong relationships, and a caring, nurturing environment.
Triple C
Established in 1941, Triple C School follows an American curriculum for grades kindergarten through grade 12. Accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), it allows students to take Advanced Placement courses and the SATs in grade 12.
St Ignatius Catholic
Rooted in faith and service, St Ignatius Primary School provides a values-driven education for four to 11-year-olds. Alongside the national curriculum, the school integrates weekly mass, community outreach, and leadership projects. The school also has interactive technology suites and dedicated art studios to help enrich the learning experience.

John Gray High School
John Gray High School serves years seven to 11 in offering a robust Cayman Islands curriculum alongside pre-vocational programs at its CIFEC partnership. Newly inaugurated performing arts studios and digital media labs reflect the school’s vision for learning.
Cayman Prep High School
Building on a tradition of excellence, Cayman Prep High School has science wings and sports complexes that underpin the school’s holistic ethos. Cayman religious education
Many of the public and private schools in Cayman were founded on Christian values. Many today are still supported by local church organisations. Some of the larger schools include St. Ignatius, Triple C, First Baptist, and Cayman Prep as outlined above.
